1 DAY CRUISE to Hydra-Poros & Aegina

8:15am Sail for the island of HYDRA. Enjoy the cosmopolitan island, a favourite of the international jet-set and an artist retreat dotted with art galleries, its narrow picturesque streets (no cars allowed on the island), white washed houses, stores of folklore art and jewellery, local delicacies, crystal waters and multiple cliff face views justly make this island a jewel of the Aegean Sea. Ideal for strolling, shopping, swimming and photographs. In the early afternoon sail for the island of AEGINA, passing through the narrow strait separating the Peloponnesian coast from the island of  POROS.  Upon arrival in Aegina you can either join the excursion to the Temple of Aphaia (extra cost ), or walk around the main town. At the reception od the boat, you may obtain shore excursion tickets to the magnificent 5th century BC Classical Greek Temple of Afaea, rising above a breathtaking scenery of dark green pine trees and deep blue sea. The three temples of Afaea (Aegina), Parthenon (Acropolis) and Poseidon (Cape Sounion) form the famous 'Golden Triangle'. A bustling fish market, floating fruit market and Aegina's pistachio nuts are other attractions awaiting visitors.

Lunch is served on board. Sailing to Poros for short visit. Walk along winding streets, among rich pine forest and lemon trees to the top of a panoramic tower clock view of the Peloponnesus, or you may wish to relax at a portside cafe and enjoy the scenery. Finally, reembark for the sail back to Piraeus Port.
On the cruise back  to the port of Piraeus, passengers are invited to the main lounge to enjoy a show with Greek folk dances.

The 1 day cruise is an introduction to the 'Greek Spirit', the life, the culture, the entertainment and the famous Greek hospitality ('Philoxenia').

7.15pm. Arrival at Piraeus Port and transfer to Athens. 

N.B. In the winter the cruise ship returns to Piraeus Port at around 6.00 pm.
