A four day classical tour in Greece for tourist that want a more relaxing trip, an unforgettable excursion.
| 1st DAY: Depart
from ATHENS for the CORINTH CANAL (short
stop). Proceed to EPIDAURUS. Visit the
Ancient theatre, famous for its acoustics. Continue to NAFPLION,
the first capital of modern Greece. Afternoon at
leisure. Explore the old town of Nafplion, generally
considered as one of the most beautiful cities in Greece.
Visit the Nafplion Gallery of Art with paintings of Greek
artists dedicated to the Greek revolution. Dinner at the
hotel. 2nd DAY: After breakfast drive to MYCENAE. Visit the archaeological site and the Tomb of Agamemnon. In the afternoon depart for OLYMPIA, the birth place of the Olympic Games, through the cities of Tripolis and MEGALOPOLIS. Overnight at Olympia. 3rd DAY: Visit the archaeological site with the Temple of Zeus, the Temple of Hera, the altar of the Olympic flame, the Stadium and the archaeological Museum. Depart via PATRAS to RION, cross the Corinthian bay on the new bridge to ANTIRION. Pass by the city of NAFPAKTOS and drive along the coastal road to DELPHI, known in ancient times as the navel of the world. In the afternoon visit the picturesque mountain village of ARACHOVA. Overnight stay in Delphi. 4th DAY: Visit the archaeological site and the MUSEUM of Delphi. Return to Athens. |
