Arrival in Athens. Bus transfer to the centre of Athens. (We can arrange for a private taxi/driver to meet you at the airport and bring you to the hotel. The rate for the private taxi and driver is 40 euros per taxi.)
Afternoon, introduction and orientation.
10.00 am: Drive to the town of Marathon where we will view the starting point of the marathon, the tomb of the Athenians located on the Marathon battlefield and the Marathon museum. We drive afterwards on the course for a firsthand preview.
After an early breakfast we depart for our
trip to Ancient Olympia. We shall visit the Archaeological
museum, the ancient site with the Stadium and the museum of the
Olympic games.
Lunch on your own.
Return to Athens about 20.00 (08.00pm)
After the morning buffet breakfast, we suggest the City Sightseeing tour of Athens. Rest of the day free to relax.
After a lite breakfast, we'll leave on the
bus for the starting line. All the pre-race details are taken
care of.
We depart from the hotel at 7:00 AM. The Marathon starts at
9:00 am.
After the race, we'll enjoy a dinner at a typical Greek tavern in
Plaka with folk dancing show.

6 (Monday, November 1, 2010)
Departure from Athens.

Double occupancy from 460.00 euros per person. Single supplement 130.00euros.

prefer to be more independent and would like to create their own
program.
With that in mind, we have created a minimal support
package for your first 3 days/2 nights in Athens.
