Tour one of
the oldest cities in the world and admire the
culture that made Athens the centre of arts,
learning and philosophy. The tour includes an
overview of the modern city and the contrast with
its glorious past.
Start the tour at 08.45 driving to the "all marble" PANATHINAIKO STADIUM.
Here the first modern Olympic Games took
place in 1896 (short stop for photos).
Today the stadium is the finishing line of the
Athens' original marathon run, every year at the
end of October.
